Passport (only Japanese passports are supported): Full image showing photo, name, DOB, nationality, place of birth, gender, expiration date
Driver’s License / Residence Card (only if there are no work restrictions): Front and back, showing photo, name, DOB, address, expiration date, and signature
My Number Card: Front only, showing photo, name, DOB, address, and expiration date
Note: The same identity document can only be used for up to 5 different accounts
B. Proof of Address (choose one):
Utility bill (gas, water, electricity)
Bank or credit card statement

Verify your Identity before Starting Your Journey as an Affiliate Creator
Before you start your journey, such as posting shoppable videos, going LIVE, adding products into Showcase and withdrawing your earnings, you will be asked to complete your Identity and Age Verification.

Step 1: Start the Verification Process
Step 2: Select ID and scan ID based on the in-app guidance for verification.
You are able to select the following 4 types of ID for verification: My Number Card, Japanese Driver License, Passport, Japanese Residence Card.
Step 3: Submit your address information based on your ID to help us verify your identity.
Things to note:
All documents must be valid and not expired.
Information from each uploaded document must match what was manually entered.
Uploads must meet requirements of having the full document visible, and must not be physically or digitally altered.
Please ensure all uploads of documents are <5 MB in PDF, JPEG (JPG) or PNG format. File names should be a string of text or alphanumeric without any special characters (*, \, ?, ]), etc.

What should I do if I was rejected during the onboarding process?
Scenario 1: I am not able to see EC Center in Creator Tools or I am identified as "Don't meet one of requirements" on the Self-apply Page.
To be eligible to become an Affiliate Creator, you will have to meet the eligibility criteriaIf you meet the criteria, but you still are unable to see the EC Center in Creator Tool, please raise a ticket in Settings and Privacy.
Scenario 2: I clicked on "Apply", but it shows "Your Application is Rejected".
Please raise a ticket via clicking "contact customer support".
Scenario 3: My Address Information Verification failed.
You could check verification status in Verification Center. You might be asked to upload Proof of Address. Please make sure your document contains your full name and address information.
